On February 28, 2020, a business visit of the MSIIR Vice-Rector Artyom Vladimirovich Malgin and Dmitry Alexandrovich Kryachkov, Head of the Department of the 1st English Department, took place in UzSWLU, accompanied by Vice-Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Matekub Bakoev.
First of all, the guests were given a tour of the complex of the university buildings, during which they attended classes in simultaneous translation. Visiting the library, the guests showed great interest in textbooks on the theory and practice of translation and fiction. Then, a meeting was held with the rector of UzSWLU Rakhimov Ganisher.
During the conversation, issues of cooperation were discussed, in particular, on attracting graduate students to the magistracy for the specialty “Theory and Practice of Simultaneous Translation” at the Tashkent branch of MSIIR, attracting graduate students to the branch as teachers, and on creating joint educational programs in various fields.
