Meeting with students of the Faculty of Translation of the Uzbek State University of World Languages with the lecturer of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in Tashkent Simon Kretchmer on educational innovations and projects
On February 13, 2021, a meeting was organized with the first and second year students studying German at the Faculty of Translation of the Uzbek State University of World Languages with the head of the section and lecturer of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in Tashkent Simon Kretchmer. The meeting was held in the 204th lecture hall of the Faculty of Translation.
The head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation LT Kholiyarov and all teachers of German language: Z. Gazieva, G.Musaeva, U.Saidmuratova, M.Nurnazarova and B.Akhunov and students of all German groups took part. Simon Kretchmer informed the students about the German country, culture, people, customs and field of education.
The meeting was very interesting with a slide show presentation about German culture, mentality and student life, video screenings. He also informed the students about all the available universities in Germany, bachelor’s and master’s majors, what they can do to go to study in German universities, and gave advice on which university or majors they can apply to and what level of education they should have.
