On March 18, 2021, an online meeting was organized with representatives of the Autonomous University of Mexico. The event was attended by Mexican Head of International Relations Karel Salgado, Dean of the Faculty of Languages Jose Alfredo Sanchez, Secretary for International Cooperation Pilar Ampudia and Spanish Language Officer Virna Velasquez.
Vice – Rector for International Cooperation A. Abidjanov gave detailed information about the activities of UzSWLU, in particular, international cooperation, joint educational programs with leading universities of foreign countries. Dilrabo Bakhronova, a teacher of Spanish, spoke about the teaching of Spanish in our school and the cooperation with Spanish universities.
The parties exchanged views on the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the implementation of exchange programs, the organization of joint scientific and practical conferences, the introduction of joint educational programs.
It should be noted that the Autonomous University of Mexico, founded in 1828, is one of the largest universities in the country and is among the top 1,000 in the international rankings. Today, the university has more than 90, 000 students.
Representatives of the Autonomous University of Mexico expressed readiness to establish and develop cooperation with UzSWLU in various fields and to sign a Memorandum.
