On April 20, 2021, a meeting was held with the head of the Center for Public Diplomacy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan K. Sobirov and the head of the department of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere F. Otbosarov.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Abidjanov, Head of the Department of Joint Education Programs H. Yuldashev, Dean of the Faculty of Philology S. Ziyaeva and Dean of the 1st Faculty of English A. Yuldashev.
During the meeting, A. Abidjanov briefed on the activities of UzSWLU, the work being done to develop international cooperation, expressed readiness to cooperate with the SCO Center for People’s Diplomacy in Uzbekistan, and said that students of UzSWLU are planning to do internships in the SCO.
At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Center for Public Diplomacy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Uzbekistan and UzSWLU.
