On April 8, 2021, Alliance Fransez held an online conference in Tashkent with the participation of specialists in the French language in the education system of the republic, as well as guests from the French Republic. One of the issues on the conference agenda is participation in the first Olympiad in the French language in Central Asia, organized by the French spelling champion Guillaume Teren online. Participation is free and open to all francophones and Francophiles of the 5 Central Asian republics (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan). This Olympiad is planned to be attended by students of the direction of the French language of UzSWLU and teachers of the French language.
Giomas is also the founder of the platform “orthodidacte”, in cooperation with which the first stage of the regional Olympiads was developed.
In addition, detailed information was provided on the purchased educational literature for students of general education schools and students of higher educational institutions studying at the Alliance Francaise in Tashkent.
The online conference was actively attended by professors and teachers of the Department of Theory and Practice of the French language.
